GWO Regional Coordinators Urged to be Creative and Innovative in their Work

Ghana Without Orphans (GWO)  has held a Regional Coordinators Meeting to interact and share ideas with its Coordinators across the country on how best they  can go about their work in the various regions.

The meeting was held in Accra and recorded ten Regional Coordinators attending.

They included: Rev. Eric Yehoah, Evangelist Oliver Wendpanga, Rebecca Ameyibor, Rev. Lovelace Tetteh, Rev. Samuel Hammond, Rev. Adu Yeboah, Evangelist Derek Amoo Sakyi, Emmanuel Lord Quaicoe, and Rev. Mathew Gariba

Addressing the Coordinators, the National Coordinator, Pastor George Abaidoo briefed the group on the background of GWO and its relationship with its mother movement, World Without Orphans (WWO)

He also took the group through the National Plan of Action for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, emphasizing on the portions of the document that falls in line with the activities GWO.

Touching on the work and responsibilities of the coordinators, he urged them to be creative and innovative in their work by coming up with unique strategies that will help them implement their ideas and visions of GWO in the various regions where they work.

Rev. David Kwadwo Ofosuhene, of the International Christian Cooperative Ministries, also lectured the Regional Coordinators on Orphan Sunday; on how the initiative can be implemented in their local churches in the various regions of the country.

He also urged all the coordinators to be hardworking and committed to the services of GWO.
